The excitement of opening weekend at Pandora - The World of Avatar drew record numbers of guests to WDW's Animal Kingdom. Visitors came to explore the new attractions and see the sights and sounds up close and in person.
As part of the experiences, guests discovered the chance to take home one of their very own Banshee Available at the Rookery inside the Windtraders, a Naturalist from Alpha Centauri Expeditions will help each guest find the perfect one from among the many unique styles.
Each interactive banshee is controlled by hand and includes three ranges of motion – the mouth, head, and wings – as well as authentic banshee sounds provided by Disney’s partners at Lightstorm Entertainment. Once chosen, a guest then determines the personality through a combination of sound and hand movements and can carry them in their arms or on their shoulders.
