"Every Ending is a New Beginning" and for the Toys, the new beginning starts June 21, 2019.
Coming to theaters this summer, the Toys are back in Toy Story 4. Along with many familiar faces, Toy Story 4 has new friends including Forky, who is sure to become a favorite.
In Toy Story 3, we came to the end of the trilogy between Andy, Woody and the gang. Or so we thought, until Disney filmmakers began wondering what would it be like now that Woody has a new owner and new toy friends.
Taking care of Andy and now Bonnie has always been Woody's priority, but when Bonnie adds a new toy to the mix, life as Woody knows it once again changes and off they go on new amazing magical adventures.
In Toy Story 4, Woody and the gang meet "Forky" (voiced by Tony Hale) who insists that he is NOT a toy! A spork that has been been "enhanced" by Bonnie's creativity, Forky is having isses accepting his fate by trying hard to escape.
“The world of Toy Story is built upon the idea that everything in the world has a purpose,” said Director Josh Cooley. “A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfill his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him.”
Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.
