Twentieth Century Studios’ celebrated theWorld Premiere at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre last week of their upcoming new film, “The Call of the Wild” . The list of stars included Harrison Ford, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Cara Gee, Michael Horse, Colin Woodell, Terry Notary, Karl Makinen, Adam Fergus and Greg Tarzan Davis.
Also present were director Chris Sanders, screenwriter/executive producer Michael Green, producers Erwin Stoff, p.g.a. and James Mangold, p.g.a., executive producers Diana Pokorny and Ryan Stafford, editor David Heinz, composer John Powell and visual effects supervisor Erik Nash.
“The Call of the Wild” will open nationwide Friday, February 21 telling the story of Buck, a big hearted dog who is uprooted from his comfortable home in California and sent to the Canadian Yukon during the 1890s Gold Rush. As part of the a mail delivery dog sled team, Buck has an adventure of a lifetime. Adapted to the big screen from the novel by Jack London, fans of all ages will enjoy watching Buck grow into his spot as the Sled Team Leader.
