"On Pointe" is an original docu-series coming to Disney+ on December 18, 2020, which follows the lives of students at New York City's world renowned School of American Ballet (SAB).
The series will give viewers access to one of the top youth ballet institutions in the world. During the six part special, older students from all parts of world will fine tune their skills as they strive to launch their careers. Students aged 8 to 18 will be showcased as they go through the rigorous routine of training required in their quest to become professional ballet dancers. Younger students from New York City will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents as they are seen rehearsing and performing in "George Balanchine's The The Nutcracker®" on stage at Lincoln Center.

School of Ballet (SAB) is regarded as America's leading ballet academy. A constituent of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, SAB accepts and trains young aspiring performers between the ages of 6 to 18 for a career in classical ballet. Approximately 20 advanced students embark on professional dance careers each year from SAB.
